REAP Easter tree planting workshop
On Friday we went to a workshop with 30 other REAP members based around Kisumu to learn about the benefits of tree planting around Easter time. It was a great place to meet people who are already implementing various techniques, plants and trees that REAP promotes. The workshop began with introductions, which lasted for several hours. These included sharing how many chickens, goats, cows, children, wives and grandchildren one had. We felt pretty lame saying we owned no animals, had no children, no grandchildren, and just one wife.
